This is Great!! Now those of us who have two brain cells to rub together and didn't buy a house we couldn't afford get to baill out the ones that did! Yay for the federal government!
Update: I spoke too soon I guess. Here's the real reason Bush is talking about it: he wants to scuttle a House bankruptcy bill that would give borrowers real power over their mortgages....
