11 reasons why your startup shouldn't get into mobile

Sadly, this guy doesn't really know the half of it.  His 11 reasons do hold some weight (despite being written in a somewhat bitter tone) but he forgets the magic of the carriers.  Carriers (Verizon, Sprint ATT) in the mobile world control everything.  They're the FCC on PCP.  I also think he may understate just how hard it is to get things working on all phone platforms.  They have different screen sizes, and different button configurations.  Each one has their own quirks that must be accounted for.  It's a complicated business....and it's one that, despite all the troubling qualities about it, I love.
